Swara Bhasker Is Spending Her Isolation Time With Her Pet Dog; Says 'Never Thought That I Would Be Picking Up Dog Poop'
Swara Bhasker seems to have found some entertainment in the times of self-isolation. She reveals that she adopted a rescued puppy two days before the lockdown was announced and now, she's being a responsible pet owner
In the time of self-quarantine, everyone is complaining of getting bored at home. But Swara Bhasker is rather enjoying her free time. Luckily, she adopted a rescued puppy a few days before the 21-days lockdown to curb Coronavirus in the country was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and now, the pooch is keeping her entertained and busy. In her latest interview, the Veere Di Wedding actress revealed that she is being a responsible pet owner.
To Bombay Times, she said, "I have been in self-isolation since March 20. Strangely, I ended up getting a five-month-old rescue pup literally two days before the lockdown. His name is Godot. I go for walks with him and that has become a part of my lockdown routine. I never thought that I would be picking up dog poop or that I’d ever be in close contact with dog sh**. But now, everyday when I take my dog for a walk, I have a scooper to pick up his poop like a responsible pet owner."
Swara Bhasker already owns three cats and Godot is the new entry to her family. We bet the pets would be keeping her super busy these days considering all the house helpers too observing self-isolation amidst the lockdown. Apart from this, Swara also revealed that she is watching films and reading books to pass time.
Meanwhile, through social media, Swara Bhasker is urging everyone to stay indoors and be safe it is the only solution to put an halt to the rapidly growing pandemic. In her interview too she shared the same advice and said, "The only advice that I want to give people is STAY HOME. I have also noticed people using this time to troll others. I just want to say that the whole world is facing perhaps the darkest moments of our time."
